10 Months Old!

Owen is now 10 months old! Uncle Scooter and Aunt Lori came over and visited with O on Sunday. He proudly showed off his walking skills, which I captured Monday night.

Owen's Two Front Teeth

After a VERY long week life has returned to normal. Over the last week Owen had his two front teeth come in. Last Monday Owen was having a hard time sleeping and he felt like he was burning up. He had a 102 degree temp and we took him to the ER. After spending an hour an the ER we learned that his fever was due to his front two teeth coming in. Needless to say the rest of the week was filled with a crying baby who had a hard time sleeping. Thank goodness both front teeth are through and Owen is back to being a happy guy. Here are a few pictures I took tonight during tubby time that show off his front teeth.

Owen had a weekend filled with his Grandparents. Grandma Krissy came over and watched Owen on Saturday so we could get some projects done around the house. I even got to get out and get a pedicure! We went to my parents on Sunday for dinner, where Owen showed off his new walking skills. Grandma and Grandpa Ricker came over on Monday to visit with Owen again and he walked 22 steps! He walked all the way across the living room around his toys to the front door.

When we picked Owen up from daycare on Friday both he and Noah had mohawks. Unfortunately, I didn't have my camera to get the picture of both boys. Here are a few pictures of O once we got home.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Happy St. Patrick's Day! Our morning started way too early. After a very short night (up most of it with Owen... the joys of teething), Erik and I attended the MACUL technology conference in Detroit. The conference was great, it was a beautiful 68 degrees out, and we got to eat at the Hard Rock Cafe. Here are a few pictures of Owen in his St. Patty's Day outfit. The grumpy pics are from 5am, and the much happier pictures are from this afternoon. :)

9 Months and more

I've been so busy the last two weeks with school, Grad classes, and birthdays that I haven't had a chance to post any new pictures. Here's a few pictures from the last two weeks.

2/28/11

Owen's 9 months old! It's so hard to believe how big he is getting, and how close to walking he is. Owen loves to chase Cohen around the living room, as you can see in the pictures below. Thank goodness Co is so good with Owen.

Owen and Noah had their first dinner play date at BDubs on Friday. We met the Anderson's and the Marske's for dinner. The boys did a great job entertaining each other. I love the picture where Noah and Owen are both chugging their waters. So cute!

Owen and I visited with Grandpa and Grandma while Erik went to get a haircut. Owen loves eating snacks with Grandpa.

On Sunday we went over to the Smith's for dinner. We celebrated Rick's, Erik's, and my birthdays. Owen loved seeing his Grandparents, Great Grandma and his Aunt and Uncle.




3/7/11

Erik had a wonderful birthday. Owen and I got him a Kindle, which he had been hinting he wanted for months. The night ended with all the boys in one seat.


3/8/11

I woke up on my birthday to a wonderful surprise. Owen was handing me a Rodger's and Holland box with a beautiful necklace in it. After school we celebrated my birthday with a dinner at my parents. We had a yummy dinner and I got a bunch of scrapbooking supplies. Owen play with Uncle Zachy running laps around the living room, dining room, and kitchen.

Owen has been working on getting his top front two teeth. This morning we noticed the right tooth has broken through.
