Easter

4/24/11

The Easter bunny visited our house!  Owen was very excited to see his Easter egg trail leading to his basket.  We went to my parents for an Easter egg hunt, and for Owen to get his Easter basket.  We then had a nice Easter dinner with my Grandparents and the Sanders.  Owen got to play with Chloe, which he loved.

Easter with the Smiths @ Munn

4/23/11

The Smiths had a family gathering at Munn to spend time with one another and visit with Ken and Beth who were visiting from Arizona.  We had a great lunch and everyone had a chance to ice skate or play hockey.  Here are a few great pictures from the day.

Owen and his Four Wheeler

A cute video of Owen in the driveway on Tuesday.

One busy week!

This week has been super busy.  It seems like we are going 100 miles per hour.  On Sunday Owen went over to Grandpa and Grandma Sander's house to have a play date with Chloe.

O and Chloe greeting each other... almost looks like they are going to high-five.

Awe!  Chloe trying to hug Owen.

After playing with Chloe we went to my parents for dinner.  After dinner Owen got to drive Grandpa's tractor around the yard.  He loved it, and was waving to everyone while driving.

O's Walking

Owen's been walking for about 3 weeks now.  Here is a cute video of him walking from the kitchen into his bedroom today.

St. Augustine Part II

4/5/11
We woke up Tuesday morning to a tornado warning for St. Augustine.  Luckily by the time we saw this on the news the warning was ending.  Since the morning was a bit gloomy we decided to check out the Pier, and the Alligator farm.  Once we were done at the Alligator farm the sun was out and Owen was ready to hit the beach.  When Owen finally crashed Erik ran to get us some take out Mexican.  We enjoyed our dinner on the balcony with a wonderful view of the Atlantic.

4/6/11

Wednesday was a beautiful day.  We headed into town to check out Castillo de San Marcos fort.  After touring the fort we walked along St. George Street.  Owen fell asleep during our walk so we decided to drive over to my favorite road in St. Augustine- Magnolia Street.  We spent the afternoon soaking up the sun.  We rented two chair and an umbrella for Owen to play under.  Best $20 spent of the whole trip.  After a long day of sightseeing and playing on the beach we packed up to get ready to head back to MI.
