Playground fun with Noah & Owen

9/27/11

After school today I picked up Owen and we headed over to Lockwood and the cross country meet.  Owen got to see his Grandpa Ricker and meet the entire cross country team.  We went over to the playground where we met up with Noah and Nikkia.  I can't believe how big both of these boys are getting.

Sanders Family Reunion

9/25/11

On Sunday we went to Charlotte to a Sanders family reunion.  We had a potluck lunch and Owen got to see lots of big tractors.  He was in heaven.

Owen was in love with the three tractors and the "big rig"

MSU vs. Central

9/24/11

Erik and I had a busy Saturday.  We went to the MSU vs. Central football game.  After the game we went over to the Smiths where Owen spent the day.  We then went to Kristen Babbitt's reception at the Lexington.

Potty Training

9/22/11

Owen decided he wanted to potty train himself this week.  He started saying "potty" so we got out his Cars toilet and let him sit on it.  He actually went!  Since last Thursday he has gone multiple times (even at both Grandparent's houses!)  Yesterday Owen told Erik "potty"  he ran into the bathroom and went #2!  We were so excited we started chanting Owen, Owen... he started dancing around the hallway, then he realized he still had to go more... and we had a mess to clean up on the floor.  It's a learning process for us all! :)

Aunt Jackie's in town!

9/20/11

My Aunt Jackie is in town for the evening from California.  We went over to my grandparents house for a wonderful dinner.  Owen and Chloe got to meet my Aunt Jackie for the first time.  Both Owen and Chloe ran around like the wild children they are.

Chloe tackled Owen then tried to choke hold him... pretty funny!

Both babies loved running around without their pants on.

Welcome Home

9/18/11

My parents came home from Ireland on Sunday night.  We made a sign and decorated the door for their arrival home.  Owen is saying "cheese" in the first picture and gave a great smile for the second.  Owen was beyond excited to welcome them both home.

Cooking for Mommy

9/14/11

After last Wednesday accident I decided to give Owen a pan to pretend to cook with while I made dinner.  Here are a few pictures of him pretending to cook for Mommy and Chauncey.

Goose Egg

9/14/11

Last Wednesday Owen scared about 10 years off of my life.  He was running around, as usual.  He tripped over his own feet in the kitchen and crashed into an open cabinet drawer.  He got the largest goose egg I've ever seen in my life.  Erik came home about 20 minutes after the crash, told me I was over reacting as the swelling was already going down. Almost a week later, he is down to just a yellow bruise on his head.  Here are a few pictures of Owen's battle wound.
