Snow Fun

1/14-1/15

Owen had lots of fun playing in the snow this weekend.  He went sledding down our driveway and our front hill.  He also put on his snowmobile helmet (without crying!) and rode around the backyard with Grandpa.  His helmet still weighs a bit much.  When he got back to where we were standing he was resting his head on the handle bars.  :)

Greyhound Basketball

Last Friday night we went to the Greyhound basketball game.  Owen and Noah loved watching the game, running around the hallways of the school, and jumping up and down on the bleachers.

The Anderson's came over to watch MSU play in the Outback Bowl.  The boys enjoyed playing together, and luckily after three overtimes MSU pulled out a victory!

12/29/11

On Thursday we went down to Detroit.  We stopped off at Scooter and Lori's for a final Christmas with them.  After eating a lunch and opening a few gifts we went to The Renascence Center to check into our room.  Owen took a brief nap and we were off to the GLI hockey tournament to watch MSU vs. Michigan Tech.  Owen loved riding the people mover and playing in the hotel.  Once we were back at the hotel Owen played with Grandma Krissy and Grandpa Ricker so we could go to the top of the Ren Center to The Carriage, a restaurant, where we got drinks with Aaron and Michelle.

We went to my parents house around 9:30 Christmas morning for breakfast and to open gifts.  Owen was wound and excited to open more gifts.
